Full Job Description
Quaker Valley School District is seeking applicants for full-time cleaner positions. These eight (8) hour full-time positions are Monday through Friday through the school year. The rate of pay ranges from $18.47 to $22.92/hour along with an individual benefits package. Hours vary based on district needs.
Terms of Employment: In accordance with the agreement between the Quaker Valley School District and the QVESPA, Unit II.

Farmington Public Schools has an opening for a Cleaner at East Farms Elementary; 4 hours per day from 3:30 - 7:30 PM full year.
No medical benefits; 4 paid holidays; $25,000 life insurance provided.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Candidate should be able to read and write English and follow written and oral instructions.
B. Consideration will be given to the following:
1. References that indicate the candidate demonstrate courtesy in dealing with students, parents, teachers, principals, superintendents and the general public.
2. A basic knowledge of general cleaning methods.
3. A good work record.
4. Must be in good physical health to successfully perform required duties.
REPORTS TO: Designated supervisor
SALARY: $17.30-19.53 per hour, dependent upon experience.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Cleaner will be responsible for the cleaning of rest rooms, class rooms, offices and other assigned areas, and will record and report maintenance jobs to the supervisor.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Within the Building
1. Wet and dry mop floors, vacuum rugs, dust and polish furniture, lockers, and special equipment.
2. Clean all glass surfaces and windows in interior of building.
3. Wash walls, furniture, toilet fixtures, partitions and other equipment.
4. Replace lavatory supplies.
5. Dispose of waste paper and rubbish.
6. Communicate with supervisor any problems in your area.
7. Stock shelves with adequate supplies to perform duties.
8. Set up and clean before and after school activities.
9. Performs related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
B. Adjacent to the Building
1. Sweeps sidewalk areas, picks up debris from the grounds, shovels snow, and sands sidewalk as required during the normally scheduled workday.
2. Weed flower and shrub beds and rakes leaves.
3. Performs related duties limited to this job description.
